Både Lars von Trier, Anthony Dod Mantle, Charlotte Gainsbourg og Jacob Groth er nomineret til dette års European Film Awards.
Nomineringerne til dette års European Film Awards blev offentliggjort på filmfestivalen i Sevilla den 7. november og de europæiske filmpriser uddeles den 12. december i næste års europæiske kulturhovedstad Bochum i det tyske Ruhr-område.
Antichrist er nomineret til flere priser; Charlotte Gainsbourg som bedste skuespillerinde, Anthony Dod Mantle for bedste kameraarbejde og Lars von Trier som bedste instruktør. Lars von Trier har tidligere vundet flere europæiske priser, eksempelvis blev 'Breaking the Waves' og 'Dancer in the Dark' kåret til bedste spillefilm i 1996 og 2000, ligesom akademiet hædrede von Trier som bedste instruktør for 'Dogville' i 2003.
Derudover er den danske komponist Jacob Groth nomineret for hans musik til filmen "Pigen der legede med ilden". I øvrigt er alle de nominerede film (på nær The Reader) støttet af MEDIA.
