Eurimages støtter Bier med 3,4 millioner kr

Eurimages har netop uddelt årets sidste støtte til et samlet beløb på 5 millioner euro (37,5 millioner kr.) fordelt på 14 europæiske co-produktioner. Der var 450.000 euro til Susannes Biers kommende film, som er en dansk/svensk/italiensk co-produktion. 

Der blev i det hele taget uddelt støtte en række af de store europæiske instruktører som Michael Haneke, Patrice Leconte, Peter Greenaway, Ari Folman m.fl.

EURIMAGES blev etableret af Europarådet i 1988 og er en støtteordning for co-produktion og distribution af europæiske værker (både spillefilm og dokumentarfilm).

Siden 1988, har EURIMAGES ydet støtte til 1334 Europæiske co-produktioner til et samlet beløb på 401 millioner euro. 

EURIMAGES har 34 medlemslande: Albanien, Østrig, Belgien, Bosnien Herzegovina, Bulgarien, Kroatien, Cypern, Tjekkiet, Danmark, Estland, Finland, Frankrig, Tyskland, Grækenland, Ungarn, Island, Irland, Italien, Letland, Lithauen, Luxembourg, Holland, Norge, Polen, Portugal, Rumænien, Serbien, Slovakiet, Slovenien, Spanien, Sverige, Schweiz, Makedonien and Tyrkiet.
