The main part of CPH:FORUM will take place in CARL cinema at The Danish Film Institute.

"We are overwhelmed and very happy about this years line-up. Reflecting CPH:DOX' overall interest in strong cinematic films, crossing boundaries between non-fiction, fiction and visual art, we think that this years line-up represents the very best. We hope once again to create an exclusive meeting and networking place where leading European and international professionals will develop strong working relations across fiction, documentary and the arts", says Daniella Eversby, Head of Industry.

The 26 selected projects will be presented in three sections

FICTIONONFICTION: challenging works in the ever growing hybrid landscape between fiction and non-fiction.CINEMA: high end theatrical feature length documentaries with international distribution potential.
ART: film projects conceptualized to be screened both within the institution of cinema and that of visual arts.

The film projects will be presented to an excellent line-up of major international funds, sales agents, buyers, distributors, broadcasters, online platforms, festivals, museums and other film and art institutions.

Highlights

"Old sit Gold" directed by Ulrich Seidl, produced by Philippe Bober
The film portrays the lives and daily routines of young Kenyan men who earn their living with white female tourists from Western Europe, selling to western tourists anything and everything that can be sold – from keyrings to boat excursions to safaris.
Ulrich Seidl has directed numerous award-winning documentaries. His work method, achieving the greatest possible authenticity and showing people in their most intimate or lonely moments, along with his mixing of staged and documentary scenes and professional and non-professional actors, has provoked much discussion.

"OperationCeleste" directed by Mads Brügger, produced by Peter Engel
A reinvestigation of one  of the last century's great unsolved mysteries; the death of UN chief and Swedish statesman Dag Hammarskjöld in Rhodesia (Zambia) September 1961. The project centres around the enormous research results of Göran Björkdahl and will hopefully end up being a groundbreaking political thriller.

Mads Brügger  Born 1972, Denmark, is a journalist with his own distinctive methods. Mads' latest documentary "The Ambassador" was selected for competition at IDFA 2011 and Sundance, and to this he also received the Dreyer award, which celebrates outstanding cinematic achievement

"Tuomo" directed by Ben Rivers and Ben Russell, produced  by Nadia Turincev and Julie Gayet
Tuomo  Tuovinen, an art-school-trained outsider artist, a freak-folk musician, a stream-of-consciousness storyteller, and a self-professed wanderer. He is the title character of TUOMO, the second feature-film collaboration  between film artists Ben Rivers (UK) and Ben Russell (USA), a mostly non-fiction film that both leads and follows as Tuomo moves through the vibrating edges of the world.

Ben Rivers and Ben Russell are artists working primarily in film and installation. Along with their collaboration on the feature film A SPELL TO WARD OFF THE DARKNESS (2013), they have worked independently on 20+ shorts and one feature film each, earning such awards as: the Venice Film Festival FIPRESCI, the Rotterdam Film Festival FIPRESCI, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award, the Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Baloise Art Prize at Art Basel.
