Wavelengths, the avant-garde programme of the Toronto International Film Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary from September 10 through 13, 2010. Taking place during the opening weekend of TIFF, Wavelengths provides a unique forum for international film and video art within the context of one of the largest public film festivals in the world.
There is no official submission process for Wavelengths, no forms to fill out and no entry fee.

Please contact me in advance if you prefer to send a film print for preview. Other than prints, previews will not be returned to the filmmaker unless they are picked up in person or the return shipping is pre-arranged. If you cannot meet the deadline but have works in progress that you wish to have considered, please do not hesitate to be in touch.
Named after Michael Snow’s seminal film Wavelength from 1967, Wavelengths strides to provide a thoughtfully curated platform for avant-garde film and video within one of the busiest and most diverse festivals in the world. Building on its past successes, Wavelengths is presently looking for new works (2009-2010), as well as recent restorations of seminal films from the avant-garde. Programming suggestions and referrals are equally welcome.
