The restaurant SULT is located in the Filmhouse on Gothersgade. The restaurant shares the open space on the ground floor with the Cinematheque and the Film & Bookstore.
SULT is both a café and restaurant. We welcome you, whether you want to drop in for coffee with a friend, share a bottle of wine with someone special, dine with your family, or if an experience at the Cinematheque has sharpened your appetite.
Our menu offers a top selection of Italian, French and Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant imports its wine from Southern France, and we always have a brand to suit the menu.
The façade of the Filmhouse is in glass, filling the large, open restaurant with bright, natural light. We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere and to provide our guests with a calm space in the geographical and cultural center of Copenhagen.
Weekend brunch
All generations gather for the weekend brunch in SULT. We offer special prices for the younger guests, and the children can watch a film in the Cinematheque while the adults share a meal in the restaurant.
0-2 years: 25 DKK
3-5 years: 50 DKK
6-11 years: 100 DKK
12 and above: 195 DKK
The brunch is between 10am and 3pm, all weekends and holidays. We take reservations from 10:00-12:00 and from 12:30-15:00. It is generally a good idea to order a table well in advance.
Events
In SULT we have years of experience hosting receptions and events, and our premises can accommodate a great number of guests. Feel free to contact us if you're thinking about having a party, and we can tailor the event to your specific needs.
Film quiz
Once every month SULT hosts a film quiz (read more at www.filmquiz.dk). On these specific dates it is only possible to order a table if you’re playing, and if you are having dinner before the quiz. In 2011 the film quiz is held on the follwing dates:
