Treaties and Agreements

The Danish Film Institute has signed several co-production agreements and treaties, which are tied to DFI's strategy to encourage strong international collaboration and coproduction.

The treaties listed below are necessary for official co-productions, while some of the agreements aim to foster collaboration at an early stage.

German Danish Co-Production Development Initiative

Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and the Danish Film Institute have initiated a co-development agreement to strengthen the collaboration between producers in northern Germany and Denmark. The agreement allows for up to three feature film projects a year to be supported within the agreement's three-year trial period 2015-2017.
