Inside game wins four BAFTAs

AWARDS. Danish video game "Inside" won big at the Bafta Game Awards held on Thursday in London. Playdead studio also made a splash with their previous puzzle game, 2010's "Limbo."

Denmark and Canada to Invest in Digital Media Co-development

Bodil Awards to First Features

AWARDS. Two debuting feature directors took centre stage at the annual Bodil Awards: Christian Tafdrup's "Parents" received four prizes, while Rasmus Heisterberg's "In the Blood" was named Best Feature. Trine Dyrholm was awarded her sixth Bodil trophy for Best Actress at the ceremony held 4 March in Copenhagen.

Film Initiative Anchored in the Middle East

INTERNATIONAL. The Danish-Lebanese film initiative Cinema on the Road is bringing great movie experiences to Syrian and Lebanese children and teens. Riley Keough and Sofie Gråbøl join Lars von Trier

IN PRODUCTION. Sofie Gråbøl and Riley Keough are added to the cast for Lars von Trier's upcoming feature film "The House That Jack Built," which already includes actors Matt Dillon og Bruno Ganz. The film will be shooting in Copenhagen in May, after initial shooting in Trollhättan.
The Day Will Come and Parents lead Robert Awards 2017

AWARDS. "The Day Will Come" by Jesper W. Nielsen about two boys' rebellion against a tyrannical headmaster was named Best Danish Film at the Danish Film Academy's Robert Awards on Saturday. Winner of the Best Director prize was Christian Tafdrup for his debut film "Parents."
