Six Danish films have been selected for The Norwegian International Film Festival, which takes place 17-23 August.

Morten Helgeland and Casper Wermuth's Bachelor project from The Animation Workshop in Viborg, "Slug Invasion" will be shown as a Special Screening. The film participated at the Cannes festival earlier this year.

The Danish box office hits "This Life" and "A Royal Affair" are selected for the Nordic Focus programme.

Karla von Bengtson's animated children's film "Tigers & Tatoos" will be shown in the Cinemagi programme.

At the New Nordic Films Market buyers and programmers from international festivals will get the chance to preview Bille August's "Marie Krøyer" and Jan Rahbek's Marco Macaco. Both films will be released domestically in the fall.
