"I always believe the chief enemy of creativity is being safe and in good taste".

So says Nicolas Winding Refn in an extensive interview in the Danish Film Institutes's festival magazine FILM of which the Cannes competitor is the cover star.

In the magazine you can also read in interview with Icelandic director Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson, whose "Whale Valley" is in the Short Film Competition, directors Mikkel Nørgaard and Søren Kragh-Jacobsen, actor Søren Malling and this year's Danish Producer on the Move Mikael Chr. Rieks.
