European audiences and film professionals had even more opportunities to experience and engage in Danish cinema in all its diversity during the Danish EU Presidency in the first half of 2012.

Cultural focus

Danish cinema was part of a wider cultural focus during the EU Presidency launched with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture. The Danish Arts Agency was responsible for the overall coordination.
