Sirup

Helle Ryslinge, Denmark, 1990

114 min.DK/Feature

Lasse Seerup is a young art gallery owner, inordinately proud of his own self-styled video art as well as of his sexual prowess. He sponges on more genuinely gifted friends, he parades as an anarchist, but is primarily an ambitious snob. He has a love affair with Ditte, a talented painter, then blows everything on one single dirty gambit. Writer-director Helle Ryslinge shared a Best Screenplay prize at Venice.
