A record number of Danes chose to be married on 7 September, hoping for a sprinkle of the good fortune associated with the number combination 7-9-13 in Denmark. "7-9-13" is the title of an ambitious new series of documentaries from national broadcaster DR, supported by the Danish Film Institute. With the ambition to craft a contemporary portrait of Danes and Denmark in the new millennium, the series tracks five different married couples from the moment they say "I do" and over a period of several years in their lives together for better or for worse.
