Has written numerous scripts for Danish feature films and shorts since 1995, among these the major boxoffice hit 'Far til fire - gi'r aldrig op!'/'Father of Four' (2005).
Frellesen is both scriptwriter and director on 'Boy Meets Girl' (2007) which took home a Danish Robert Award for Best Short Fiction. The fifth installment in the popular romantic Anja & Viktor series, 'Anja & Viktor - i medgang og modgang'/'Anja & Viktor - In Sickness and in Health' (2008), marks Frellesen's feature film debut, also signing the film as scriptwriter.
