Producer. Born 1956. Has worked in several producing capacities over the last 25 years.
Andersen has had a long-standing collaboration with director Nicolas Winding Refn. He produced 'Valhalla Rising' (2009), which competed for the Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival. He also line-produced 'Fear X' (2003), 'Pusher II' (2004), 'Pusher III' (2005) and 'Only God Forgives' (2013).
Among other things, he produced Natasha Arthy's 'Fighter' (2007), which was selected for a number of international festivals such as the Berlinale, Tribeca and Göteborg Film Festival.
Andersen taught at the National Film School of Denmark from 2011 to 2015. He also worked as a producer at the Danish Film Institute's talent development scheme New Danish Screen from 2015 to 2018.
