Marianne Blicher's debut as a writing director was the short film 'Mallorca' (2009), followed by 'Belinda Beautiful' (2012), which won the main prize at Krakow Film Festival and has an extensive festival track. Her short 'Odd Job Man' (2017) competed at 50+ festivals. In 2019 Blicher developed and was the head writer on the award-winning annual season of the family show 'Circus Summarum' for national broadcaster DR.
'Miss Viborg' (2022) is Blicher's debut feature.
