Director. Born 19 September 1980. Albrechtsen has a background as art director and worked in different advertising agencies before attending the National Film School of Denmark, where she graduated from the documentary programme in 2009.
Albrechtsen har directed a number of short films, including "Rogue Girls" (2012) with Tine Katinka Jensen. Selected for IDFA First Appearance Competition is Albrechtsen and Lea Glob's feature-length documentary elaborating on the theme of female desire, "Venus" (2016). The film is Albrechtsen's first long documentary.
