Jacob Grønlykke

(1960 – )

Born 1960, Denmark. Graduated in engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. Worked behind scenes on the Danish production "Thorvald og Linda"/"The Ballad of Linda" (1982), and as producer for "Et skud fra hjertet"/"Shot from the heart" (1986). For a period, creative director for Saatchi & Saatchi. Co-writer on Susanne Bier's "Sekten"/"Credo" (1997).

"Lysets hjerte"/"Heart of Light" (1998) is his feature film debut, selected for Sundance, awarded by the Danish Arts Council and at Lübeck Nordic Film Days. "Opbrud"/"Lost and Found" (2005) was honoured at Viareggio with 2nd Best Film and Best Actress (Birthe Neumann).
