Sonny Lahey began working in film while staying in Vancouver, Canada. He attended the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark and studied film and media science at the University of Copenhagen.
He was a member of the danish film collective Super16 and has produced 5 short films to date. Sonny Lahey has worked as a producer's assistant and production manager at i.e. Nimbus Film and as director's assistant in theatre.
He works as a freelance voice over director of the danish language dubs of numerous films and television shows and has started his own production company based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
