Den offentlige røst

Lejf Marcussen, 1988

A trip into the world of art and architecture. The basis is the picture made by the Belgian surrealist Paul Delvaux »The Public Voice«, which the camera zooms into and out again. The pictures change in front of the audience, and we recognize Leonardo da Vinci as well as Wilhelm Freddie.

Film

Alice og Emil på vej til billedet - Hvem er bange for rød, gul, blå

Bigita Faber, 2000

Alice and Emil are spraying graffiti and seek refuge in the art gallery on their inliners; they are literally dragged into Jorn's "In the wingbeat of the swans". They explore the motifs and landscapes, the moods, colours and techniques, encountering nature, love, and whirlwinds.

Film

The plain

Simon Dybbroe Møller, 2010

The camera zooms in on a detail in an abstract painting, while a laconic voice-over talks about surfaces, compositions and geometric principles. Simon Dybbroe Møller mimes the classical presentation of art, as we know it from TV programmes in the 1960's and 1970's. While the imagery continues its restless panning across non-figurative paintings, the pedagogic voice-over changes its focus.
