Our fascination of the disfigured has its roots way back in our collective history. Set against the historical changes in society, culture and natural science, this documentary focuses on the lives and biographies of a number of physically deformed people. The ethical question raised in the film is: do we have the right to use gene technology and early diagnosing to prevent the birth of genetically imperfect children?

Kai has just moved to a German suburb and desperately wants to be part of the local gang 'The Crocodiles'. The gang members are sceptical though, because kai is in a wheel chair and only when he manages to save a gang mebers life and dicovers a robbey in the making, is he permitted into the group. The robbers have escaped and someone else has been accused of the crime.
