A highly personal documentary about a parent's life with her 14-year-old son Tomas, who is not only psychotic but severely mentally handicapped. Filmed by the boy's mother, actress Lone Hertz, during two weeks at their country home away from Tomas' day-to-day institution. A relationship of love, affection and hard work is portrayed, a struggle to make life bearable for everybody involved.
