The children's film classic from 1949 based on Jens Sigsgaard's book of the same title: All children dream of being totally alone in the world in order to do all the things which are forbidden, dangerous and exciting. Palle gets the chance one morning when his mother and father are out and there are no people in the street. He goes by tram, enters an empty bank to get money, buys candy in a shop, goes by a fire engine, and finally goes by plane directly to the moon.
