Can the cinematic language be renewed? A documentary about the Danish artist collective ABCinema, that in the years 1968-1970 sought to unite the arts and formulate an early set of "dogma rules." The film includes interviews with some of the founding members Jørgen Leth, Ole John, Per Kirkeby, and Bjørn Nørgaard, as well as clips from the collective films such as 'Dyrehaven', 'Rødovre', 'Jens Otto Krag', 'Eftersøgningen', and others.
The documentary was produced by a group of students at Roskilde University in 2000 and later adapted at the DFI Film Workshop in 2009 for the release of Jørgen Leth’s experimental films on DVD box set no.
