A cross section of the hippie period in Copenhagen, when the city was captured by the NATO-army from SOLVOGNEN and buzz words like LOVE REVOLUTION were in. From the army we cut to God's Children, street musicians and performers, a writer, the onlookers and members of Children Power. A commentary to an orthodox Christian way of thinking, anarchically it moves between heaven and earth.

Blekingegadebanden is an authentic story about a group of young idealists who lose their grip on reality. As they harden under the demands of a greater political cause, they put their own and others' lives increasingly at risk. It all ends in 1988 with the biggest heist in the history of Denmark and the death of a 22-year-old policeman.
