Bag Blixens maske

Morten Henriksen, 2011

A film about Karen Blixen's friendship with the devil. In public Karen Blixen described herself as a "story-teller", but within a small inner circle - amongst others, the young man of letters, Aage Henriksen - she talked about herself as "the devil's mistress" and thanked him for his ability to convert everything into stories. Were her opinions pure literary ornament, metaphors for well-known phenomena, or did they have a deeper meaning? These questions led the later professor of literature, Aage Henriksen, onto a harrowing journey, which put him in connection with a number of occult phenomena.

Digter

Claus Bohm, 2000

This film is a characterization of ten young Danish poets. Its motto is the quotation, »Literature began with poetry, a singing nomad, long before people settled, had a fixed abode and began to write.» Taking travel as its theme, the film moves through various poetic landscapes.

Karen Blixen - Storyteller

Christian Braad Thomsen, 1995

Karen Blixen - Storyteller adds vital pieces to the jigsaw of Karen Blixen's (Isak Dinesen) enigmatic personality. The film includes hitherto unknown shots from the author's triumphal tour of the US in 1959, where she took part in talk shows and related anecdotes from Africa and Rungstedlund. A number of her close friends also appear: Thorkild Bjørnvig, a poet, Aage Henriksen, a professor of literature, Blixen's sister-in-law Jonna Dinesen, Knud W.
