A portrait of the Danish photographer and social warrior, Jacob Riis, who fought with only one weapon ¿ his camera ¿ against poverty and deprivation in the slums of New York at the end of the 19th century.
Riis¿ photography gave affluent Americans an insight into the deplorable conditions in which immigrants lived. He was not only respected by the wealthy and influential, including President Roosevelt himself, but also by the less fortunate.

'That Summer' is a feature documentary centered on the film project artist Peter Beard initiated in 1972 with Lee Radziwill about her relatives, the Beales of Grey Gardens. Lost for decades, this extraordinary footage re-emerges in a film that focuses on Beard and his family of friends, who formed an enormously influential and vibrant creative community in Montauk, Long Island (NY) in the 1970s. Featuring Peter Beard, Lee Radziwill, Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale, Edith Bouvier Beale, Andy Warhol.

¿Man with Camera¿ is a personal documentary by Katia Forbert Petersen. Through a portrait of her father, the Polish-Jewish cinematographer Wladyslaw Forbert, and making use of his life-long film photography, we are introduced to a part of history which not only depicts filmmaking but also major events in Europe and the world throughout the last century. Wladyslaw is now 80 years old, he is retired and lives in Denmark, but his pictures are still being broadcasted by TV-stations worldwide.
