Man has always been interested in how our brain performs its fantastically intellectual and creative achievements, but we have not been able to watch it work till in recent years. The film is a kind of situation report from the network of research milieus which cooperate today within modern methods of picture scanning. Usually scientists research into the normal, living brain to be able to understand better its development from embryo to old age, and to be able to concentrate the efforts against the diseases of the brain: Altzheimer's disease, senility, thrombosis, sclerosis etc.
