A crime-documentary about the private investigator Tore Sandberg, a former NRK news reporter, and the retired police boss Frode Asbjørnsen and their investigations into two sex murders that shook Trondheim at the end of the 70s.
For a long time, Tore has been convinced that something is wrong in the Fritz Moen case, and together with the skeptical Frode he reconstructs the course of events and initiates talks with the involved parties in the police force, the prosecution and witnesses about what became Norway's greatest miscarriage of justice.
Tore fights a long and hard battle to reopen the two murder cases for which the multi-handicapped Fritz Moen is sentenced.
