The relationship of the two sisters Inger and Ellen is challenged during a highly anticipated coach trip to Paris. When Inger announces she is struggling with mental health issues to the group of travellers, the sisters are faced with pity from some and downright discrimination from others. On arrival in Paris, it soon becomes clear that Inger has a hidden agenda concerning a figure from her past, ultimately involving the entire group in her hunt for answers.

Doctors were accused of subjecting patients to life-threatening treatments, coercion, and human experimentation, but were acquitted. Now, after 60 years, a concealed LSD archive emerges from one of the LSD doctors, casting doubt on the authorities' decision in one of Denmark's most bizarre psychiatric scandals.
