Lê Lê - De jyske vietnamesere

Dan Säll, 2008

A film describing the spiritual and physical thirty year journey of four Vietnamese brothers and sisters; The flight from Vietnam, the childhood in the takeaway in the countryside of Northern Jutland in Denmark and today, the ownership of one of Northern Europe's biggest Asian restaurants, Lê Lê, situated in Copenhagen.
We follow the siblings at the reopening of their jet-set restaurant, in larger and more up to date surroundings. A move made necessary due to the success of their old restaurant, situated just 150 meters from the new Lê Lê.

Michelin Stars - Tales from the Kitchen

Rasmus Dinesen, 2017

At a moment in time, when humanity is obsessed with food – photographing every dish, worshipping cooks and flaunting trophy meals on social media, this documentary goes under the surface and offers an in-depth, honest and relevant view into the world and every day of Michelin chefs and restaurants. Telling tales from a grand menu of culinary temples as well as digging into the greatness and flaws of Guide Michelin in this golden age of gastronomy.
Because we share a great love for the industry that also includes a realistic understanding of things behind the picturesque scenes of the – perhaps – greatest, most creative and dynamic industry in the world.
