A tv-series about girls and horses and the passion and community that grow from the meeting between the girls and the big animals. We follow several teenage girls who each have a special need for being close to their horses, and via the girls we are immersed in a universe filled with tenderness and danger. We experience how the horse are able to give the girls a space in which they can navigate between freedom and control, and how the horses assist the girls in their delicate transition from girls to women.

Alma and her family move away from their lovely apartment in the city and into a house by the countryside. Alma finds it difficult to say goodbye to all she knows, and welcome the unknown: A new bed, a new kindergarden and new friends. Luckily, not everything remains foreign.
