Led by Joseph Kony, who uses mysticism and cruelty to turn children into ferocious killers, all in the name of freeing the Ugandan people from the rule of a brutal regime of Yoweri Museveni and leaving more than 100,000 dead in the process. Tortured and brutalised, Ongwen quickly learned to kill or be killed.
