Helle is a awkward teenager in a small Danish town. She dreams about making love to the local boys, especially Mike, the most popular guy in town, and an insecure bully. Unfortunately for Helle the boys aren't interested in her. They regard her as mentally disabled because of her limp. The alienation makes Helle desperate and puts her in inappropriate situations. After an episode where she embarrasses Mike, he and his boys decide it's time for revenge. ”Haltefanden” is a story about being different and isolated in a small town. It aims to be a little sad, a bit toe-curling and quite funny with a bit of horny on the site.
