Life is a mystery. Some sort of a labyrinth or a crime needing to be solved. The film is a journey to understand life and the choices which have shaped it, a story about a life well spent and experienced. It is also about getting old, but this is not all the film is about. In the most exposed manner, we follow Jørgen Leth, over 80, stubbornly walking the continents of the Earth over the course of one single day. During this walk the film digs into the themes of his life: heroes, successes, failures, the never-ending search for love, acceptance of family and the understanding of the life he has chosen, a life with a packed suitcase, always ready to go.
