Livet i USA er hårdt for Fausto og Jesus. Som mexicanske indvandrere uden opholds- og arbejdstilladelse er de afhængige af at tage tilfældige, dårligt betalte småjobs. Hver dag står de på samme sted og venter på at en potentiel arbejdsgiver skal komme forbi.
