The director Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt collaborated with Klaus Rifbjerg and Greenlander J. T. Motzfeldt on the script for this film about a continental Dane's search for his lost brother in the wilderness of Greenland. The Dane carries his own baggage of doubt and guilt and maybe his search is primarily for himself. The Inuit called the brother a Tukuma: one of those who are always too busy.
