The lonely janitor Frank Munk is in love with the beautiful Evelyn who lives in his building. Frank is convinced that Evelyn will find him disgusting because of the hump on his back. Secluded in his appartment, he spies on her through the looking glass in his door and concentrates on his model of the battle of Little Big Horn. One day Evelyn rings his doorbell and asks Frank to fix her toilet. Easier said than done when you desperately want to hide your hump.
