Duties (post n°
1357)
Under the authority of
the Fund's Executive Secretary, the post-holder will have the following
responsibilities:
Verifying and
analysing applications for assistance submitted by professionals;
Following-up the
implementation of decisions to grant assistance (in particular
preparation of award agreements);
Monitoring the
exploitation of films supported and the repayment of loans, in
particular:-
Maintaining regular contact with producers who have received assistance
and all professionals concerned;- Systematically gathering
information on the performance of films funded;
Drafting meeting
reports and preparing working documents for meetings of the Board of
Management.
Qualifications,
professional experience, knowledge, skills and language
proficiency
Good university
degree;
At least two
years'practical experience working within a cinema support scheme or the
cinema industry and in particular have knowledge of the support schemes
and production rules of the Fund's member states;
Sound professional
experience in the collection and management of film exploitation rights
and receipts acquired in a body specialising in this field;
Wide experience in
the use of computer and data retrieval facilities;
Excellent knowledge
of French and good knowledge of English; knowledge of other European
languages desirable.

nationals of a member state of the Council of Europe and be under 55 years
of age on the closing date of the Vacancy Notice. On the basis of this
competition, a reserve list for other similar vacant posts in the
Organisation may be drawn up in accordance with Article 15, para. 3 of the
Regulations on Appointments.
The appointment will be
made on the basis of an initial two-year renewable contract.
