Rebel Dykes
“Vi var meget politisk bevidste, men vi var også meget uartige!” Denne eksplosive dokumentar foregår i 1980’ernes post-punk London og fortæller den ukendte historie om et multietnisk samfund med lebber fra arbejderklassen, der forandrede deres verden. Rebel Dykes blander intelligent animerede, rekreerede scener, arkivmateriale og interviews for at illustrere en radikal og eksplosiv scene: BZ’ere, BDSM-natklubber, anti-Thatcher-forsamlinger, demonstrationer der krævede handling på AIDS-området og de stærke forbindelser i en valgt familie.
