You can watch films, explore the bookshop, or relish an appetizer in the café. This and much more at the Cinematheque in central Copenhagen.

The Cinematheque is temporarily closed until January 4th due to corona restrictions.

The three cinemas at the Cinematheque offer a rich programme of more than 70 films every month, many of which are in English or with English subtitles.

Also in the Cinematheque is the Film & Bookshop and the Café & Restaurant SULT where you can stop in for a coffee and a mag or enjoy a meal before your film. There is entertainment for the entire family with brunch and children's films on Saturdays and Sundays.

The first floor is home to one of the world's most extensive libraries of film and television literature, the national stills & posters archive, and the Videotheque located in the library with more than 1500 titles in the catalogue.
