Cyron Melville wins at Montreal

Danish actor and Berlin Shooting Star 2009, Cyron Melville, won Best Actor Award at Montreal International Film Festival for his role in the drama "Love & Rage", a feature film debut by Morten Giese.

Cyron Melville was lauded by Danish critics for his outstanding performance in "Love & Rage", about a piano student, Daniel, whose flawless and engaging music goes hand in hand with a fragile mind. The film charts the outcome of Daniel's jealousy and inner turbulence.

Director of "Love & Rage" Morten Giese is editor of countless Danish films, including Per Fly's acclaimed societal trilogy "The Bench", "Inheritance" and "Manslaughter".

"Love & Rage" will also screen at Hamptons, where Cyron Melville will participate in European Film Promotion's Shooting Star Tour, a programme that includes meetings in New York with US casting directors.
