The Golden Globe Awards are presented annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) to honour outstanding achievement in film and television.
Three Danish films have won a Golden Globe in the Foreign Language category:
Susanne Bier's 'In a Better World' in 2011, Bille August's 'Pelle the Conqueror' in 1989 and Carl Theodor Dreyer's 'The Word' in 1956.
