Danish films have participated and won statuettes at the Oscar ceremony since 1931. On this page you can see an overview of the nominations and prices awarded to Danish films.

An Oscar, also called an Academy Award, is awarded by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Oscar ceremony is considered to be one of the most prestigious and influential award ceremonies in the world.

The last time a Danish feature film was nominated was Martin Zandvliets 'Land of Mine' in 2016, and the last a Danish feature film won an Oscar was Susanne Biers' 'In a Better World' in 2010. Denmark has also had much success in the short film category, and the latest Danish winner was Anders Walter in 2014, who won an Oscar for 'Helium'.
