From Wednesday 16 December, French cinemagoers will get the opportunity to see Martin Zandvliet's "Applause" with Paprika Steen, Simon Staho's "Warriors of Love ", Anders Østergaard's "Burma VJ" and two films by Ole Bornedal: "Just Another Love Story" and "Deliver Us from Evil." The directors and actors mentioned will be present during the festival and introduce their films.
Additionally, four Danish shorts will be shown at the festival: Simon Starski's "Little Girl Fishing", Joachim Ladefoged's "Mirror", Lars von Trier's "Occupations" and Luc Perez' "Shaman".
Sunday evening ends with a special screening of Carl Theodor Dreyer's "Gertrud" from 1964, followed by a discussion between the French film director Claire Denis and film journalist Stéphane Bouquet.
During the festival, there will be organized meetings between Nordic and French film professionals.
Ole Bornedal's "Just another Love Story" opens in France 6 January.
