Set for Danish release this summer, "Only God Forgives" is Nicolas Winding Refn's second film with Ryan Gosling who plays Julian, head of a Thai boxing club that serves as a cover for a profitable drug trafficking business.
When Julian's brother is murdered, their mother Crystal shows up in Bangkok to bring the body of her firstborn home to America and to get Julian to avenge his dead brother.
"Only God Forgives" is written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and shot in Bangkok. Producer is Lene Børglum for Danish production company Space Rocket Nation. Refn's "Drive" won the Best Director award in Cannes 2013.
