"Prague" and "The Monastery" to Karlovy Vary


Ole Christian Madsen's feature film "Prague", and Pernille Rose Grønkjær's documentary "The Monastery" are selected for the 42nd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (29 June — 7 July 2007). "Prague", produced by Morten Kaufmann for Nimbus Film, is selected for Variety Critics' Choice, a programme organized by Variety magazine in cooperation with European Film Promotion. At this year's two-day 10th jubilee anniversary, critics led by Steve Gaydos and Derek Elley will be presenting their selection of ten works of European cinema.    "Prague" was honoured with a Jury Award at the San Jose Cinequest Film Festival in 2007."The Monastery", produced by Sigrid Helene Dyekjær for Tju-Bang Film, is selected for Another View, a programme consisting of 35 films. The film won the esteemed Joris Ivens' Award at IDFA Amsterdam, and went on to win honours at Chicago, Copenhagen, Durham, Sao Paulo and Warsaw.
Ole Christian Madsen will attend the Karlovy Vary film festival.
