Tribeca honours "Defamation"

Controversial documentary honoured with Special Mention at Tribeca.
 
Yoav Shamir's "Defamation" on modern-day anti-Semitism was singled out with a Special Jury Mention at Tribeca Film Festival this weekend. The jury was motivated by the film's open-minded unveiling of a difficult subject.

"Defamation" is a Danish-Austrian-US-Israeli co-production, whose Danish co-producer is Karoline Leth of SF Film Productions. The film showcased in Berlin Film Festival's Forum section.

Director Yoav Shamir stands on the success of his documentary "Checkpoint", which received more than 20 awards including a first prize at IDFA.
