The world's best film school doc

DOC AWARD. Mira Jargil's graduation film "The Time We Have" has been named best graduation film by the international film school association Cilect.

"I am really happy that my grandparents' love story lives on out there in the world. I am proud and honored to receive this award," said Mira Jargil, as her graduation film "The Time We Have" was named best film by the international association of film schools Cilect.

"The Time We Have", a moving portrait of Mira's grandfather and his farewell to his wife of 67 years, landed at the top of the list with a record number of 101 votes from film schools around the world.

Director of The National Film School of Denmark, Poul Nesgaard, says:

"We are happy for Mira and proud that another of our talented documentary directors deservedly can add a prize to the list. The fact that the votes to Mira's film are given by film schools from all over the world is a great international recognition of The National Film School of Denmark."

• Golden Panda China: Grand prize for best documentary 2011
• Robert, the Danish Film Academy: Best Short Documentary 2012
