A painter has stopped painting and cites a number of reasons for this, among them the isolation syndrome unto which the last 100 years' mythogenesis round the rôle of the artist has pinned our protagonist down. Another motive is the trivializing by the grocer's mentality of the art galleries throughout the country. The videogramme dramatizes and interprets this decision via the artist's monologue.
