Dan Tschernia, Denmark, 1980

91 min.DK/Feature

In this 1980 anti-European Union comedy satire, the E.U. has declared Denmark bankrupt and reduced the country to a dumping ground. The Danish language has been outlawed, all Danes have been deported and now begin, in exile, to form resistance movements. Among the expatriates walks a writer, a latter-day Orpheus, searching for his Eurydice. But without an EUR in her name, the lady is different now.
